I really enjoyed and felt the benefit from hypnotherapy sessions with Sally for both weight control and anxiety and self confidence issues. She is such a friendly person and I felt at ease as soon as Sally opened the door. I was nervous, due to fear of the unknown really and not having ever met Sally, but I felt comfortable with Sally so quickly which for me is huge when I am “opening up” to someone I don’t know. She is very professional and I felt she really empathised and sympathised with my issues and never judged me. The room Sally practices her hypnotherapy is also lovely and relaxing. Having hypnotherapy is very personal and Sally really listened to me and adapted very useful ideas around addressing my problems such as making recordings of hypnotherapy techniques I can take home and listen to which are recorded especially for me.
I have used the techniques Sally has taught me since finishing sessions with Sally and they have really helped reduce my anxiety and think about the negative thoughts that I automatically have been saying to myself for years without even noticing it. I now spend time trying to catch these inner thoughts of me talking negatively to myself and switch them round to something positive. The more I repeat it the more I begin to believe it. I would definitely recommend Sally. She is the best therapist I have ever seen.
Sally has truly made a massive difference to my life after my hypnotherapy sessions. Before I seen Sally I suffered with bad anxiety and depression, now I feel I can handle life a lot easier, to look after myself more and not to worry over the little things. Sally is very friendly and welcoming which made the whole experience comforting and made me at ease.
I found my hypnotherapy sessions with Sally really effective. Her therapy space is really cosy and inviting, and she very quickly put me at ease. She spent a lot of time listening to my concerns and anxieties, and then tailored each session specifically to support in achieving the goals I set for myself at the start of journey, many of which centred around building my self confidence.
I also learnt a number of really useful and effective mindfulness techniques, including the use of positive affirmations, which I found really worked for me and still use.

After a few massage sessions Sally introduced me to a hypnotherapy session designed to tackle weight loss. I found the sessions really helpful and inspiring. Without even realising I was getting more exercise, eating better, smaller portions, no snacking, all things I'd told her I wanted to do. It didn’t feel like an effort or a chore and I feel a lot happier in myself.
The sessions were great, as Sally gave an explanation into the way my brain works and the cycle of setting myself up to fail. Being somebody who's a logical thinker, this really helped me get my brain around my relationship with food. The best thing for me was to learn not beat myself up if id indulged in something I fancied. I learned that dieting isn't a punishment, it's ok to eat the occasional treat and if you do slip up, it's easy to get back on the wagon and you don't need to default into a downwards spiral of binging.
Another great thing I learnt was to not focus on the number on the scales. When trying to loose weight previously, I felt I got obsessed with calories, counting, numbers on the scale, this in itself is exhausting. It's good to have goals but productive ones rather than a number that you'll never be happy with.
I was sent home with some recordings to listen to, I've never slept so well after listening to them. I've recommended this course to countless friends and overall I found it really helpful. I've noticed my relationship with food is better and my relationship with myself is better."
I was very sceptical to start with but I thoroughly enjoyed experienced. I have found it useful and noticed early on that I didn't feel the need to have an afternoon snack anymore, which is something I've managed to cut out completely!
The more I listened to it, the more helpful I found it! The only thing I found difficult about the experience was that I sometimes struggled to find the time to zone out and listen to it every day!
Sally is someone who I genuine warm to and she took time to explain initially what hypnotherapy was, what I could expect and then took real time and care to find out about my problems and what I wanted and needed out of the sessions which all made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I think for me there has been a genuine and deep improvement in terms of my issues over the sessions (the sleeping was cured the first night and have never looked back) as a result of hypnotherapy, massage, counselling and some very hard work on my side in understanding me.
I do feel that the ability to amend my thoughts and patterns of behaviour slowly over the weeks and months have allowed me to be in the place I am now - and I will continue with these sessions picking various issues to tweak and doing relaxing and reversion techniques.
For me Sally has a wider perspective when we talk that helps do much to understand and then apply the correct hypnotherapy messages.,
